About Eli

I’m a creative director and brand architect. I work where branding, culture and visual identity meet: building brands for founders at Arcbound, as Creative Director at Graviten, and in what I write and speak about.

I build brands that let people see who you are before they meet you.

My first brand was an online community for gamers. I made its merch and its videos myself, and it sold out in 24 hours. I learned then that people can tell when something is real.

My taste comes from culture: the people I’ve worked beside from around the world, and everywhere I’ve traveled. Music, film and pop culture shape most of what I make, and Rick Rubin’s The Creative Act changed how I think about the work.

From there I moved through esports, a creator agency of my own, TCC and TEGNA, and at each one I learned more about how people decide what to trust. The timeline has the details.

Today I build brands for founders at Arcbound and I’m Creative Director at Graviten. Before I open a design file I spend hours interviewing the founder, because the visuals have to carry their core message. Then I show them options and pay close attention to what they turn down.

What I believe.

Taste comes from a life. It builds from where you grew up, what you listen to and everywhere you’ve been.

Creativity is a muscle. It gets stronger the more you exercise it and refine it.

A brand is architecture. Everything rests on the core message, so the logo is the last thing I design.

AI serves taste. Generating a logo takes seconds now, and choosing the right one still takes a trained eye.
