Self-serve Arc Launch
Arc Launch is Arcbound’s launch program, a $30,000 engagement run by a full team. In October 2026 I made it available to anyone. Self-serve Arc Launch is a hosted web app that runs the same method for one person, from research and the interview through the brand strategy, identity and website to their first month of content. Their name and one link start it.
I built it from the n8n workflows I made in 2025 and the Lovable builds behind ArcBase OS, designed its logo and landing page, and handed it to Bryan and Rafael on October 15. When a launch is done, people move into ArcBase, where they plan, find ideas, create and grow from the same strategy.

The ArcBase deck
In October I rebuilt the sales deck for ArcBase, Arcbound’s premier product, from Bryan’s notes: 41 slides that show every service with real client work, Arc Launch week by week, the product architecture and ICP documents, milestones and a two-year timeline, all kept inside the Arcbound brand. It carries the results our clients have seen, like 9,000 new newsletter subscribers and 18,000 new followers for Charlene Li in 18 months, 60% more LinkedIn followers for Founders in Arms, and 300,000 monthly impressions for Mercury CEO Immad Akhund.
My first ArcBase deck, in February, was 16 slides in coral and pink with no client work in it. For the October rebuild Bryan left comments over three rounds: make the two-year partnership clear, show newer client sites, tell Victor’s identity story, take the prices off the add-ons and add testimonials. I swapped the pink for a true Arcbound red with flat fills, and the deck went from 34 pages in the first draft to 41 in the final.
“I met Bryan three years ago when he helped launch my book. We talked about how he needed to productize the infrastructure he’s built so he could scale. It is incredible to see how he brought that to life. Really excited about what is to come.”
Deb Liu, Ember AI, formerly of Meta and Ancestry“Arcbound understands me, my message, and is an opportunity machine for my career. I continue to trust them at the highest level.”
Case Kenny, creator of New Mindset, Who Dis?“Strategic thinking? Check. Meaningful introductions? Check. Real opportunities? Check. The ARCBASE community operates the way the best professional networks do: quietly, deliberately, and with a genuine understanding of what its members are building.”

Content Radar
In October 2026 I built Content Radar, a research tool for Arcbound’s content team. Type in a client’s name and it reads their last twelve months of posts and the latest posts from creators in their niche, measures each post against that creator’s usual, and turns what it finds into a report with three formats to make next. Every run is kept, so the team can see how each client changes over time.
The first full report was for Raj Singh on LinkedIn: 95 of his posts and 344 from 13 creators in his niche. It found that his posts with a real photo of him get a median of 58 reactions, against 15 for posts with a news graphic.

Arcbound for YPO members
In October I designed a new arcbound.com for YPO members, built on Bryan’s idea of two paths: Define your brand and Activate your brand. I took it through thirteen versions. It builds on the arcbound.com I originally built, which is further down this timeline.

Leading Arcbound’s creative and strategy team
In September Bryan named me on Arcbound’s leadership team, leading brand strategy and the creative department, and I became owner of the weekly Arc Launch sync.
I lead a team of more than ten people: full-time designers and brand strategists, video and design contractors, and a software developer. Each week I set the design, writing and build work across our client launches, run discovery with our clients, and shape the brand strategy that the visual identity, the website and the content all follow.

My own label
Outside client work I design products: furniture, women’s heels, a set of forks, spoons and knives, and clothing for my own private label, which launched in October 2026.
Its first piece is a Henley I designed from the buttons up: a slightly cropped cut in charcoal grey, in organic cotton and linen, with no more than three brushed steel buttons in an asymmetric, liquid shape that I sourced from a custom metal shop. The first production run of 100 was made in September 2026, and I ship US orders myself from Maine.

Rebuilding Arc Launch
By the fall of 2026 I had rebuilt Arc Launch, our launch program, from the first call to the handoff, and wrote it down for clients in two documents: a week-by-week timeline and a guide to what they get.
A launch now runs four tracks at the same time, strategy, identity, website, and channels and content, so a client goes from kickoff to a live site in 60 to 75 days. All nine calls are booked at kickoff, so the whole schedule is visible on day one. The two discovery calls are recorded, one on the client’s personal background and one on their career, and they become the source material for the brand strategy, the sitemap and everything written after.
Clients sign off five times. The homepage copy approval is the date the rest of the schedule is measured from: design starts from it, the build follows the design, and the writing team starts the newsletter and posts that same week. Everything lands in a shared drive the client owns, in editable files, with a named team and a booked call at handoff.

In July I started a YouTube channel about the things I care about outside client work: travel, fashion and archive pieces, and interior design.
July
Arcbound’s six-month growth plan
In July 2026 I wrote Arcbound’s six-month growth plan. One loop runs it: pre-sales content draws the right people in, cross-targeted outreach turns my network and a growing list of 10,000+ ideal clients into booked meetings, and the weak points we hear in those meetings shape the next round of content.
It also defines who we speak to, credentialed firms with no marketing team first and established CEOs second, in the words clients actually use, and it hands more of the design department to Shreejata and Anna so my time goes to growth.

Esquire, One Day in America
This spring Esquire sent me to Mars Hill, Maine, a town of about 1,400 near the Canadian border, to photograph the first sunrise in the contiguous United States. My entry ran in One Day in America, in the Summer 2026 issue, signed with my name.
“You’re coming in clutch for us.”
Michael Carnevale, Esquire photo editor, April 2026
I drove up the night before and had the drone in the air from the Bigrock ski area at 4:20 in the morning. From late March to mid-September, Mars Hill is the first place in the contiguous United States to see the sunrise, but in April the valley sits near 90 percent humidity, and a fog inversion held the whole sunrise behind a grey ceiling about 200 feet up. I flew for another half hour, hiked the ridge, and called it.
In town a little after seven, the first two coffee spots on the map turned out to be an empty house and a patch of gravel. Al’s Diner, on Main Street since 1937, was just opening, and Corinna, who runs the whole counter on her own, let me interview her on camera about a town where the regulars check on each other when someone misses a morning. I wrote the day up as a scene report to go with the photographs.
“You’re coming in clutch for us.”
Michael Carnevale, Esquire photo editor, April 2026
“Everybody cares about everybody. Sometimes everybody knows everything about everybody, but that’s a good thing.”

June
Nova’s self-serve discovery
In June 2026 I built self-serve discovery into Nova, inside the ArcBase OS I built on my own. It turns a person’s own material, their sent email, calendar, Drive files, call transcripts, LinkedIn, website and newsletter, into a first brand strategy with no strategist on the call.
The first version asked people for their content pillars and audience directly, and the answers came back polished and generic. Going back through Courtney’s discovery calls, I pulled out the eight conversational moves she used to get people talking and coded them into an eleven-question flow that starts warm and saves the harder questions for the middle. The engine keeps a coined phrase word for word, follows up only when an answer is thin, and stops once it has enough. Before the first question it drafts answers from the person’s own material, so they edit a draft instead of facing a blank page.
Behind it sit Nova’s Read, which shows people what it learned about their voice, themes and audience and cites where each finding came from, one shared profile that every content, visual and strategy generator draws from, and a feedback loop that flags which parts need tuning across clients. I wrote the build doc as the record of how it all works.
Each client moves through it as a guided path. Nova opens the kickoff with a short welcome that explains the weeks ahead, then hands them an intake panel to connect the sources that already carry their voice. Their own page lays out every stage, from kickoff and discovery to brand strategy and design, with Nova on hand to answer questions about their brand.
The team runs it from the admin side of the same system, where every Arc Launch and ArcBase client sits in one place alongside the apps behind each stage: visual, brand, story and content discovery, the brand strategy deck, audits, the sales engine and contracts.

June
Brand Strategy 2.0
After I took over Arcbound’s brand strategy process, I rebuilt how the strategy gets made. In June 2026 I wrote Brand Strategy 2.0, the plan for turning the deck we hand over into a guided process the client moves through.
The Adam Lurie and Steve Barth builds showed what worked. Every recommendation carries its reasoning and why it will land, and the whole strategy ladders back to one named methodology: Constrained Systems Thinking for Steve, good fuel for Adam. Brand Strategy 2.0 makes that repeatable. It walks the client through the same five phases as the deck, foundation, audience, positioning and ethos, expression, and content and activation, across twenty-three steps in the plan, and each step opens with the thinking behind it before they shape the answer. It is designed to end by exporting the branded strategy deck.
To level it up, I audited the strategy we had delivered to Steve Barth against the notes he wrote by hand on a printed copy. He questioned the positioning title, asked for a vision stated in positive terms, wanted an athlete among his audiences and reordered the content pillars. I rebuilt his strategy so every recommendation explains why we made it and why it will land, worked through each of his notes, used the same format for Adam Lurie, then turned it into a reusable template and a step-by-step prototype that takes a client through the strategy one part at a time.
The next layer gives each client a structured way to name their own methodology, the core idea and the vocabulary it owns, so the content engine can draw its topics from it and write in their voice.

June
Websites generated from ArcOS
In June 2026 I designed how ArcOS turns a finished discovery into a real website. Once a client’s visual identity is locked and their sitemap and copy are set, the system generates the site in modular, performance-ready sections that our developers drop straight into our WordPress theme. It gets a site eighty to ninety percent of the way there, so the team’s time goes into the human taste that keeps it from looking generated.
The generator works to the theme’s own rules. It fills a fixed library of nineteen sections and swaps in the client’s colors, type and spacing. Each section ships as one self-contained block, with its CSS directly above the markup and its script below, so a page loads only the code it uses. That takes a page from about three seconds to a quarter of a second and gets it to a PageSpeed score of 100. The client owns the site and can move it anywhere.
I wrote the brief as the build spec and SOP for Anton Langer and Raphael at Baseplate.
June
Jasper, up close
After an intro call with Jasper in June 2026, I wrote a competitive teardown for Bryan and the team: what Jasper is layer by layer, what it does well, where it falls short, and what ArcBase and Graviten should take from it. Jasper proves the category is real, but everything good in it sits behind a heavy manual setup, and it cannot design. Both gaps are things we already do.

arcbound.com
In May I rebuilt arcbound.com from the ground up in less than a month, with a new look, a new suite of products and a window into the technology we’d been building. Bryan announced it twice in his newsletter, and Charlene Li, who has worked with Arcbound for three years, congratulated the team.
The recording below scrolls through the arcbound.com I originally built, which led with ArcBase: “Your expertise is real. Your platform isn’t built yet.” I also designed the ArcBase product page that April.
I also built its process page, which walks a client through all nine phases of an engagement in order: the kickoff call and discovery sessions, brand strategy and visual discovery, visual identity and the brand kit, launch assets and a social audit, then the newsletter and podcast work that follows the launch.

Built ArcBase OS in Lovable as version two of the early n8n Arc Launch workflow. On the admin side the team creates a client, ingests every call transcript, trains a brand agent for that client and generates the strategy, sitemap, visual identity and homepage copy, with each output tied back to a source quote, connected to about thirty tools from Gmail and Drive to Fathom and LinkedIn. On the client side people apply, run kickoff and discovery with Nova, and name their brand. I ran the weekly team pilot, then wrote the spec for handing the rebuild to Tim's Baseplate team.

Visual Discovery OS
Designed and built the Visual Discovery OS in Lovable, a guided visual brand creation process for Arcbound clients. It starts by scraping the client’s LinkedIn and website with Firecrawl to read their positioning, tone and audience, then teaches them how design shapes perception in a short Perception Lab on neuroaesthetics, color, type and first impressions. From there they set their Brand DNA, work through 15 side-by-side taste comparisons, and get AI-generated color systems with roles and rationale, font pairings scored for readability, and logo directions, all exported as a creative brief our design team works from. Its approach heavily informed Graviten.

The projects along the way: a Google Ads campaign plan and Google Analytics tracking setup in July 2025; a creative brief, wireframe brief, email and social post for Flow, an invoicing app, in August; survey-based market research for Urban Sport, a customizable sneaker line, with five buyer personas and media recommendations, in September; an SEO audit, action plan and content calendar for TCC Entertainment’s site that same month; and an email program and campaign analysis for Blockter’s European streaming launch in October.

September
KidSuper at New York Fashion Week
That New York Fashion Week I covered the Galen Cason pop-up at 355 Bowery when it opened on September 13, 2025, and the next day I went to the KidSuper show. These are from the crowd outside KidSuper.
I planned the week from a master list I kept of 42 events between September 2 and 17, from public pop-ups like Kith Ivy at Grand Central and the Jacquemus boathouse takeover in Central Park to RSVP showrooms, runway shows, afterparties and invite-only nights like the CFDA kickoff gala at the Rainbow Room.

August
The Creative Direction Playbook
I wrote down how I run creative direction at Arcbound: a nine-step system from fit and discovery through moodboards, identity, real-world application, the website and a 40 to 60 page brand kit. That summer I also built our first automations in n8n, including a discovery bot and a flow that drafts strategy and visual exploration decks.
August
Arc Launch in n8n
That summer I rebuilt Arc Launch as an n8n workflow: it took a client’s discovery and produced their Arc Launch discovery document and a content strategy deck, and in August I recorded the whole automation running end to end. These workflows set up the creative builds we later made in Lovable, and those became the self-serve model.

July
Graviten
I became Graviten’s Creative Director in July 2025, and that October I directed its launch. I built the identity from the ground up, mapped the visual language and directed the UX, and I lead the design team across the logo, color, typography, website and social assets. Graviten shared my launch post with the line “There’s no ceiling for Eli Wright.”
I also lead product and creative direction on the Graviten app as a lead contributor. Its brand builder takes a loan officer from personality and color through palettes, type, logos and a style guide to social assets ready to post, and its content engine runs topics, ideas, drafts, compliance review and scheduling.
“He was a total savage on this with the Graviten website to get it where it landed, given his eye and feel for taste.”
Bryan Wish, November 2025

July
Rebuilding the Arcbound sales deck
Three months later I rebuilt it as The Offer 2025, more than a hundred pages built around Arcbound’s three service arcs. Define is the Arc Launch. Activate is the recurring content work across newsletters, podcasts, video, social and books. Support covers website maintenance and community management, and a closing section speaks to enterprise teams.
Every service has its own client journey with the challenge, the approach and the results, from Sean Magennis and Julie Rosenberg to Jeff Gothelf, Founders in Arms, Steve Taylor, Scott White and Charlene Li.

Creative automation in n8n
In May 2025 I started building Arcbound’s creative automation workflows in n8n. By June one was running for Getzler Henrich, drafting ten LinkedIn post ideas at a time for Mark Podgainy and Luke Andrews, from quote cards to carousels, and filing them straight into their folders for the team to edit.

June
First Heritage Mortgage
Through Graviten I supported FHM at the leadership level, managing the creative team behind their personal branding program content, website graphics, the brand style guide and scope reset, and the email signatures for their loan officers.
“It's been incredible to see how the Arcbound team has risen to the occasion to make our corporate brand feel so personal. We are excited to see their support using technology across all of our loan officers.”
Erica Goodwin, SVP Corporate Marketing, First Heritage Mortgage
“I really love the logo usage page. It’s beautiful. It’s a work of art.”

May
The Invisible Tax of Bad Branding
In May I wrote a guest article for Bryan’s newsletter about Arcbound’s rebrand: what I learned as a creative partner on it, and how we turned the idea into a visual system. Bryan shared it, calling me “one of the most driven and fast-growing talents on our team.”
May
Arcbound’s marketing and sales deck
I led the design of Arcbound’s new marketing and sales deck with our designers Shreejata and Tanvi. Bryan’s note afterward: “thanks for the hard work on this marketing/sales deck and leadership with the team.”

May
Berkeley SkyDeck
Worked on the keynote deck for Build a Brand That Opens Doors: A Workshop for Thought Leaders in the Making, Arcbound’s workshop for founders in the Berkeley SkyDeck accelerator. It walks through what a personal brand is, why to build one, the four brand pillars, building a community, and two breakout workshops for founders to define their own ownable message.

April
Arcbound 2.0
In April we launched Arcbound 2.0, the rebrand I worked on as a creative partner. That summer Bryan wrote about the sales assets I built for the team.

April
My first Arcbound sales deck
In April 2025 I made my first sales deck for Arcbound, The Offer. It walks a prospect through who we work with, why building a personal brand alone stalls, what Arcbound offers, the two partnership tracks and a run of client case studies: Steve Taylor, Nir Eyal, Mark Green, Charlene Li, Jeff Gothelf and Immad Akhund’s Founders in Arms podcast.

Paris Fashion Week
In 2025 I went to Paris Fashion Week, after two seasons of New York Fashion Week with TCC.

Raj Suri, co-founder of Lyft, founder of Presto

Immad Akhund
Now: CEO, Founder @Mercury, Host of the Founders in Arms Podcast, & seed investor
April 2025
We just closed our $300M round, valuing Mercury at $3.5B. Beyond the capital itself, there are two strategic advantages I’m particularly excited about:
The VC Portfolio Network Effect:
One fascinating pattern we’ve discovered: when a VC invests in Mercury, their portfolio companies are much more likely to become our customers.
Our analysis showed that for Andreessen Horowitz and CRV (early investors in Mercury), over 50% of their portfolio companies use us. This happens despite these VCs not actively pushing Mercury - there’s some natural alignment that occurs when they have skin in the game.
This is why I’m thrilled to add Sequoia and Spark to our cap table. As Hiten Shah pointed out on our recent podcast, “There’s massive incentive alignment when investors can get you customers.” When they bring you customers, your revenue grows, your valuation increases, and everyone wins.
This wasn’t accidental. At the seed stage, I deliberately built relationships with 60 investors who had large portfolios. I targeted firms like SV Angel and Liquid2 specifically because they had 100+ companies that could potentially use Mercury.
The Valuation-Talent Paradox
The biggest driver for this raise was actually talent acquisition. When you’re scaling rapidly (we’re growing from 780 to 1000 people this year), valuation matters for equity packages.
Here’s the counterintuitive part: You’d think employees would prefer joining companies with lower valuations to maximize their upside. But in reality, higher valuations actually help attract more talent.
People see a $3.5B valuation versus our previous $1.6B and think “this company has made it” - it’s a signal that reduces perceived risk. These external validation signals genuinely influence hiring decisions.
For startups at our scale doing about 4% stock-based compensation annually, valuation makes a real difference in our ability to compete for top talent.
Kleiner Perkins sold their stake back to Sahil Lavingia for $1.
After raising a $7M Series A, Gumroad couldn’t close a Series B. Despite growing steadily (~60–80% annually), VCs didn’t see hypergrowth. Sahil calls this the real VC trap: being “good but not great.”
Instead of selling or shutting down, he downsized, ran lean, and made Gumroad profitable. A few years later, Kleiner reached out:
“We’d be interested in selling our stake back to you for one dollar.” That was the entire email.
Why would a top-tier VC do that?
Because VC firms have fund lifecycles. Holding small stakes in profitable-but-not-unicorn companies creates friction, extra admin, illiquidity, and limited upside. Plus, they wanted the tax write-off.
Today, Gumroad runs like a mini public company: profitable, lean, distributing dividends, and running share buybacks via open auctions.
Early investors who got in at $0.60 have sold some of their shares back at $4+.
There’s real math behind this “third path” between unicorn success and total failure. It demands strong unit economics and ruthless operational discipline but it works. Most founders don’t even consider it.
We’re taught to think binary: unicorn or bust. But the middle path (profitable, sustainable, customer-first) can often win in the long run.

Mark Green, speaker, author and executive coach, 2025

When seven people died from a crisis his firm didn’t cause, Johnson & Johnson’s CEO James Burke, did something many CEOs would never dare:
He took ownership anyway.
In the fall of 1982, seven people in Chicago died after taking Tylenol capsules. Someone had removed the bottles from store shelves, injected them with potassium cyanide, and returned them to stores.
Johnson & Johnson had no involvement in the contamination since the tampering happened long after their product left the factory. Although Burke easily could have pointed fingers or hidden behind lawyers, he chose total accountability instead.
He immediately ordered a nationwide recall of 31 million bottles of Tylenol, an estimated $100 million worth (approx. $344 million in today’s dollars). He cooperated fully with the media, addressing the crisis head-on and keeping the public informed. He made the problem his, and the company’s, to solve.
Burke’s response has since become a gold standard for crisis management, cementing his legacy as one of history’s greatest business leaders.
This is what true accountability looks like: not deflecting blame or minimizing damage, but stepping forward to own crisis situations, even though you didn’t necessarily create them.

“A trusted referral through YPO led me to Bryan and the Arcbound team. After just our second conversation, I moved forward on trust alone, and they’ve exceeded every expectation since. With a technical background and two decades of brand-building at Level Access, I set a high bar. Arcbound cleared it with ease. I’ve been particularly impressed by the holistic experience: Anton’s technical precision, Blaire’s strategic leadership, Bryan's strategic introductions, and the team’s ability to design a brand that captures my mission to help scale companies to $100M and beyond. June
Arcbound
When TCC’s social accounts were taken down, our client funnel went with them. In the middle of that, beehiiv founder Tyler Denk shared a post about Arcbound looking for someone like me. I joined in June 2024 as Social Media and Creative Coordinator, making short-form video and social content for clients, and in August I became Creative Lead and Brand Architect. I recreated the Arc Launch template from scratch, I lead the interviews and the brand strategy behind each launch, and I’ve worked on more than 170 brands there.
My first Arcbound bio introduced me as the person making sure each client’s social content fit its brand guidelines and got results, and it ended with me: living in Phoenix, playing basketball, trying new restaurants, two years into Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and naming The Creative Act by Rick Rubin as my favorite book.
“From day one, the Arcbound team made their impact felt. Their sales process wasn’t just thoughtful, it was strategic and deeply value-driven. They didn’t just talk brand; they helped us land customers now contributing over $250K annually. With sharp content strategy and execution, they got our message in front of exactly the right people, at exactly the right time. Arcbound didn’t just amplify our voice, they aligned it with our long-term vision at Cruser Mitchell.”
Bill Mitchell, Cruser Mitchell, April 2025
“I met the Arcbound team early in their journey, and even then, they stood out. They asked the bold, uncomfortable questions most shy away from, and in doing so, helped me distill not just my message, but what I truly stand for in the world. They brought clarity to my story, helped me see my path with new perspective, and challenged me to own it fully. Watching their evolution, through grit, creativity, and resilience, has been nothing short of inspiring. They’re growing into a world-class team, and I’m genuinely excited about what’s possible as we explore ways to partner in this next chapter.”
Misty Dykema, Simantel, April 2025
“The Arcbound team was instrumental in guiding me from confusion to clarity about my path forward. They truly understood who I am and helped me articulate my identity in a way that allowed me to build multiple congruent business entities. Their consistent support has been invaluable to my success.”
Brandon Green, CEO of the Alchemy of Money, 2025

Marketing with TCC
In January 2023 I built Marketing with TCC, the deck we pitched brands with: social media management and paid ads on every platform, UGC, original video including commercials for HyperX, press and talk show booking, TikTok clipping, and influencer marketing across a network of more than 350 creators and 400 million followers.

January
TCC case studies
The deck closed on our case studies: UGC that cost less than $2 per 1,000 views, relatable content that didn’t feel like ads, and sound promotion for labels and artists, where one trend grew into hundreds of thousands of videos and more than a billion views. Each creator also got a page of their own analytics, like Florina Toma, with 8.1 million followers and 20 million likes a month.

2022December
Little Bricks Charity
For the holidays TCC ran a toy drive for the Little Bricks Charity’s Wishlist Wipeout with 20 creators from our roster, helping build big smiles for 10,000 hospitalized kids. The donation page passed $20,600 from 221 donations, and that December The Washington Post covered the charity. In all, the drive raised nearly $30,000 for kids in hospitals, drew more than 2 million views and put 10,000 toys in kids’ hands, with coverage from five local news stations. We also raised money for Project Iftar, feeding families in the Middle East.

November
Arizona Entrepreneurs
Shark Media got me invited to founder events around Phoenix, where I was usually the youngest person in the room. In November I walked the Arizona Entrepreneurs red carpet.

November
TCC creator analytics
In November 2022 we put together TCC’s creator analytics deck, 39 slides on the creators we worked with, their reach, engagement and audiences, so brands could see what a campaign would get. Ashley Keno’s videos drew 97 million views in 28 days, Alexomar had 536,000 followers, and Cooper Cunningham’s posts passed 2.5 million views.

September
TEGNA
In September 2022 I joined TEGNA in Phoenix as a Digital Ad Operations Specialist. Through June 2024 I set up and ran hundreds of online campaigns a month in Salesforce and Placements.io for local and national advertisers across its stations in Texas, Indiana, California, Tennessee and Georgia, between $800,000 and $1.3 million a month for advertisers like Wells Fargo, Nissan and McDonald’s, much of it for Fortune 500 companies. I watched each campaign’s delivery from start to finish and optimized as it ran, down to changing the targeted zip codes, worked with Sales on every launch and with Yield Management on margins, read the daily reporting to catch problems early, and pulled flight data from Salesforce into Excel to track every creative. I scheduled streaming and connected TV ads in FreeWheel and Madhive, on services including Prime Video, Hulu, HBO Max and Peacock, edited the HTML tracking code for clicks, CPM and impressions, and checked every VAST tag and MP4 file against spec. On my own time I did brand and content work for independent brands like AZVA Studios.

Shark Media merges with TCC
In August 2022 Shark Media merged with TCC Entertainment, one of the clients I worked most closely with, bringing its creators onto TCC’s roster. TCC bought it for a five-figure sum. It was my first exit. The photos below are from Los Angeles on June 16, 2022, while the deal was coming together. A month later we finished the TCC Brand Bible.

March
Tapped
From March 2022 to March 2023 I was digital marketing manager for Tapped on contract, marketing the Web3 networking platform to artists and performers through social media and search.
February
Knowsmoke
From February 2022 to March 2023, starting as an intern while at Arizona State, I was media manager at Knowsmoke, a biotech startup, marketing its thirdhand smoke test kit to consumers and to businesses in the automotive industry. I built a brand archetype that matched its mission, a marketing funnel around that story, and a professional tone of voice that earned trust through ethos, pathos and logos. I helped shape and run the social strategy, built ad campaigns on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook on about $7,000 a month in ad spend, A/B testing my own creatives, updated the website copy, wrote weekly blog posts, articles and monthly newsletters for customers and industry partners, growing our email list month over month, measured and reported on our Facebook, Instagram and Google ads and influencer campaigns, filmed original content and UGC, made the graphics and videos in Photoshop, Premiere and Canva, and owned the brand’s social guidelines and voice.
I wrote the copy for its app and website and made its 3D product renders in Blender, and about halfway through I moved into a lead role, directing a team of designers across the site, the app and our content while managing the monthly budget. After I started scaling its LinkedIn, Automotive Ventures voted Knowsmoke most likely to have a billion-dollar exit in the next ten years and featured it in their magazine. In 2023 I wrote its brand book. Two pieces of the work are still on LinkedIn: the survey graphic showing 83% of used-car shoppers think a smoke-free car is worth more, and the “90% of US adults don’t allow smoking in their home” ad.

2021July
TCC Entertainment
In July 2021 I joined Ilias Anwar at TCC Entertainment, The Creator Collective, the company he started in 2017, as co-founder and marketing manager, and stayed through June 2024. I ran our clients’ social channels, websites and paid campaigns in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, wrote brand guidelines matched to each client’s archetype, and directed content for every stage of the funnel, working with social channel owners, brands, influencers, PR and media teams.
I started TCC Talent, our influencer marketing arm, which we billed as the fastest growing influencer marketing firm of 2021, and ran creator brand deals and UGC from start to finish with brands and talent like the NFL and its players, Disney actors, HyperX, Zara, Fashion Nova, Universal Music and Sony Music, and even government bodies. Over time we ran campaigns with more than 350 artists, athletes and influencers with over 400 million combined followers, gave media and marketing help to Green Tea Studios, The Indonesian Creative Collective and venues in Los Angeles, and I led a team of more than 15 videographers, social media managers, copywriters, designers, account managers and ad ops specialists. We hosted networking events in New York and LA and covered red carpets and concerts across the country. I built TCCEntertainment.com, grew @TCCEntertainment past 800,000 followers across platforms, and in 2023 our content passed 1 billion organic views, which we turned into case studies for ad creative. In June 2022 Ilias ran a feature on me: Meet the 20 Year Old Taking Over Social Media Marketing.

January
Fizz
From January to May 2021 I interned at Fizz in Phoenix as a content moderation associate, a startup social app, working on the social side of the app and its growth.
2020
Shark Media
In 2020, at Arizona State, I started Shark Media, a freelance influencer marketing business built on the creators I had met through Apex, and ran influencer campaigns for brands through it as CEO. It took off fast: our page passed 30 million organic views in its first seven days, the roster soon had a combined following of 100 million, and we ran campaigns with Zara, Taco Bell, Fashion Nova, Tinder and Sony Music. My largest client had 17 million followers, and I closed one brand deal worth $70,000. I was invited on Phoenix Business Radio and to Phoenix’s invite-only CEO summit. By June 2022, when our press release ran, we worked with more than 200 artists, actors, athletes and influencers, with a combined network of over 200 million.

August
Arizona State
I moved across the country to Phoenix, knowing no one, to study business administration at Arizona State, carrying credit from the University of Maine, Southern Maine Community College and the University of Southern Maine. On campus I joined the American Marketing Association, Business of Fashion at ASU, Film Alliance, the Association of Filmmakers and the Entertainment Business Association. I also worked as an administrative assistant in an ASU office, running career fairs for thousands of students online and in person and working with recruiters from companies like Amazon, Lockheed Martin and Apple.

March
SGO
I joined SGO, the esports team Kai Sutton led, and Kai became my mentor. Shark Media, the creator agency I started next, came out of that mentorship.

2018August
Evolution Athletix
From August 2018 to August 2020 I was graphic designer and administration assistant at Evolution Athletix, an MMA gym in Saco, from the week it opened. I was behind everything creative there: its merch, social posts, the banners on its walls, website and print materials, and the Facebook ad campaigns promoting new classes, which were my first lesson in A/B testing a campaign until it worked. I wrote the copy for its third website and its social posts, shot its training sessions, and got fluent in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
Thornton Academy
At Thornton Academy, a private school in Saco, I took every computer and business class they offered, from web coding and Java to design and filmmaking, and studied ahead in almost every subject. I played basketball and baseball and volunteered with the Action Team at the elderly home and the homeless shelter. I still felt unchallenged, so at 16 I started college two years early, dual enrolling at the University of Maine for most of my junior and senior years. I got good at photo and video editing on my own passion projects, which grew to more than 300,000 followers across my accounts, and I graduated from Thornton with honors.
RYLA
In 2018 I was chosen for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, RYLA, which picks one young man and one young woman from each school. My school had thousands of students. It meant three days at a camp in the Maine woods with kids from towns across the state, starting on day one with trust falls into the arms of people we had just met. It taught me how to build a connection with people fast.
2017
Team No Sleep (TNS Gaming)
Reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad in high school changed how I saw things, and at 15 I started Team No Sleep, an esports community that hosted online tournaments. I designed three merch lines, sourced the manufacturers, and all three sold out within 24 hours, turning a $700 investment into thousands. Our Twitter reached 8,000 followers and my own content passed 10,000.

2016November
Apex Media
Those passion projects got me recruited into Apex Media’s creator community, and from November 2016 to April 2021 I worked there, first as community manager organizing online events for hundreds of people and running its social accounts, then as digital team lead for influencer marketing after I was promoted to run PPC campaigns for Apex and its clients. I ran influencer collaborations and UGC, managed what each creator delivered, ran ad campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, built search and pay-per-click campaigns on Google Ads, made content for its products and services, and grew the network from 70,000 to more than 300,000 followers.
Maine
Growing up in Saco
I grew up in Saco, Maine, “in the sticks”: riding dirt bikes, building forts in the woods, making my own comic books and video games, and editing skits with friends for Vine and YouTube. At 12 I built an app distribution system. At 14 I started working at a local seafood restaurant, biking eight miles there every summer day.
